Solving Unemployment
As I understand it, the administration uses several tricks to make the unemployment rate seem lower than it actually is. One of these is to stop counting a person as unemployed after their unemployment insurance payments run out.
If this is true, couldn’t we instantly lower the unemployment rate to 0 simply by discontinuing all unemployment payments?
Of course, millions of people might still be without jobs. The important thing is that they would not count! What a country.
