I had never heard of Naval Rivikant, until Scott Adams spoke highly of him on Periscope. He recently did his own first Periscope:

…which I found rather riveting — probably, because I found myself in such agreement with most of his philosophy and advice. When you have an hour you are willing to invest in something besides politics, I highly recommend watching it.  Crank up all the volume you can get; but I am sure he will sort out the technical issues for future broadcasts, to which I am very much looking forward. Enjoy… 😀 ◄Dave►

One Response to “Uncommon Wisdom”

One thing Naval kept repeating was how important reading was to success in life. When asked for a book recommendation, he suggested “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari, calling it by far the most important book he read last year. Naturally intrigued, I downloaded the free sample from Amazon. It didn’t take too long in the sample, before I knew I wanted to read the whole thing. As soon as I finished it, I immediately ordered and downloaded my Kindle copy, even though it usually irritates me to be asked to pay more than $10 for an e-book. I suspect that if you tried it, you would too. Enjoy… 😀 ◄Dave►
