I concur with his analysis, in all respects. Of course, from my perspective, Trump too is a statist. So is Newt; but I still would have rather Trump had chosen him to help vanquish the ultimate statist, Grandma Hillary. If for no other reason, then for the entertainment value. Fortunately, one need not also be a statist to enjoy the blood sport. 😉 â—„Daveâ–º
Pence got the nod by default. Trumps short list was a lot shorter than publicized. He wasn’t deep in good choices. Pence was looking at a good possibility of being unemployed in 2017.
