Homophobia, Hoplophobia, or Islamophobia – which is the more rational fear or aversion? Which would likely create a safer society, banning gays, guns, or Jihadists?

His parents were immigrants; but…
He was born in Indiana…
Thus, he is an American citizen…

Where have I recently heard those very same remarks – as if they made one iota of difference in evaluating the situation at hand?

Were it not so tragic, it would have been amusing today, observing all the PC challenged politicians and pressitutes, tying themselves into knots, while trying to spin away the facts in Orlando. How could a Muslim American, registered Democrat, with legally obtained weapons, a carry permit, and a security guard license, employed by a DHS contractor, call 911 to swear his allegiance to ISIS, while in the process of gunning down over 100 patrons at a gay bar? Progressive minds just cannot cope with such an unorthodox stack of incongruities. 😉

What they found most difficult to discern at first, is what his motive might possibly have been? His father, an acknowledged Taliban sympathizer, who claims of all things, to be the new president of Afghanistan, assured them that it had nothing to do with his Muslim religion. He explained that he had been recently disgusted, by seeing two men making out in public in front of his son. To the boggled Progressive mind, that was hardly a relief. They are prepared to forgive a lot of uncivilized behavior, in the name of Multiculturalism; but homophobia is not one of them.

Then, when the authorities were forced by overwhelming evidence, to acknowledge that it was indeed an act of terrorism, they seemed focused on trying to convince us that it was a homegrown, lone wolf act that was neither inspired nor ordered by ISIS. I am not sure why that distinction should matter to the victims, their families, or the rest of us, for that matter.

Notice that since the Obamessiah claims to have vanquished Al-Qaeda, and ceremoniously buried it at sea with Bin Laden, it has faded from the news. Now ISIS/ISIL/Daesh is our new ‘official’ enemy, in the still undeclared “War on Terror.” Somehow, our propagandists want us to believe that martyrdom acts by Jihadists against Americans, aren’t ‘real’ terrorism, unless sanctioned by, and executed under the direction of, official ISIS commanders. Now, they are even trying to equate these independent Islamist shooters, with so-called ‘domestic terrorism’ threats by skinheads, biker gangs, militia members, NRA members, and any other scary malcontents they can place on the Right.

One of the more amusing undercurrents I noticed today, was the consternation that this will probably enhance Trump’s Muslim immigration position. Matthew Hennessey even said it out loud in the City Journal, “Take Off the Gloves: We’re all on ISIS’s kill list—what are we willing to do about it?“:

You don’t have to be Bernard Lewis to know that Omar Mateen was motivated by his Islamic faith to kill gay Americans. It would be nice if we could speak openly about this. It would be even better if our major media outlets wouldn’t twist themselves into politically correct pretzels trying to avoid “speculation” about a motive. Sometimes a jihad is just a jihad.

According to reports, Mateen was a “known quantity” to the FBI. Did they do everything they could to stop him? One hopes. Further, one hopes that they weren’t hindered in their efforts by the anti-Islamophobia brigade that see bias and bigotry in seemingly every attempt to protect Americans from terror. The ACLU claims that surveillance programs like the NYPD’s now-disbanded Demographics Unit are “based on a false and unconstitutional premise: that Muslim religious belief and practices are a basis for law enforcement scrutiny.” The average citizen can be forgiven for thinking that the ACLU would be willing to sacrifice a couple dozen gay night clubbers if it meant neutering law enforcement’s ability to get inside the mosques and coffee bars where American Muslims congregate.

I have a different idea. I think it’s well past time that we took off the gloves. Let the FBI surveil the mosques. Let the NYPD surveil the mosques. Let these agencies do what needs to be done without fear of offending the ACLU, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or the self-loathing secular liberals whose first thought when they hear about attacks like this is, “Oh, no. This will help Trump.”

I have some even better ideas. Only a fraction of the carnage could have been done, if a few of the patrons were themselves armed. Gun-free zones should be abolished, or at least rational people should boycott them. What if we all were to refuse to enter such dangerous places, without being provided personal armed guards, like the politicians are permitted to have. Does anyone think the Secret Service leaves their weapons in their vehicles, when accompanying the POTUS on a photo-op at a school, city hall, courthouse or any other designated gun-free zone? Why does he deserve any more protection from crazed Jihadists than we do?

Then, stop spending taxpayer money to pay police to protect hateful Islamists from irate vigilantes. Reportedly, the local Imam in Orlando has openly preached that homosexuals should be killed “out of compassion.” I would bet good money that if the police would turn their backs, the survivors along with their friends and families, could put a stop that sort of religious nonsense forthwith. Hell, if I lived thereabouts, I would be happy to hold that Imam down, so they could all bugger the bastard in turn. It seems that the number of Muslim youths in America now becoming ‘radicalized,’ is exploding exponentially. What if it became downright existentially dangerous to preach hate from a pulpit? â—„Daveâ–º

  • Progressive minds just cannot cope with such an unorthodox stack of incongruities.

Lends credence to the claims of Dr. Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr., M.D. that liberal/progressive is a mental disease.

    Excerpt:
On the Madness of Modern Liberalism:

The egalitarianism and welfarism of modern liberal government are incompatible with the facts of human nature and the human condition. But the rise to power of the liberal agenda has resulted from the fact that the people of western societies have irrationally demanded that governments take care of them and manage their lives instead of protecting their property rights. This misconception results in massive violations of those rights while permitting government officials to act out their own and their constituents’ psychopathology. The liberal agenda gratifies various types of pathological dependency; augments primitive feelings of envy and inferiority; reinforces paranoid perceptions of victimization; implements manic delusions of grandeur; exploits government authority for power, domination and revenge; and satisfies infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation.

I found his book to track closely with my own study of human psychology and behavior. When I watched Yuri Bezmenov say the KGB considered them “useful idiots” and when they were no longer useful they just shot them because there was no return to logic or reality … I admit I did laugh out loud. 😉

BTW: Bezmenov also claimed Ted Kennady was a prime target … wined and dined by the KGB.

Now that is a real shock is it not? 🙂

    • I found his book to track closely with my own study of human psychology and behavior.

Agreed. Once again, great minds think alike. Just over 7 years ago, I posted: Progressive Madness 😀

I have seen clips of the Bezmenov interview before. I am pretty sure it was on Griffin’s website. When I get a chance, I will watch the full thing. Thanks. â—„Daveâ–º

      • Any time and you are welcome.

I should watch Bezmenov again. At one time I had his whole show only in segments … then it disappeared off Youtube. I was lucky to find this one a while back otherwise my blog would have been missing that whole archive.

Now I download those video that I find really interesting just in case I need them later. The real bummer with that is uploading the data to youtube takes forever.

When these guys simply vanish (die) with little or no explanation I wonder if there is not foul play.

Bezmenov appeared to be so credible I bought his story hook line and sinker … lol 🙂

        • Bezmenov appeared to be so credible I bought his story hook line and sinker …

Oh, sure, just the fact that it was on G. Edward Griffin’s site was good enough for me. He is the author of “The Creature from Jekyll Island,” and is no fool. â—„Daveâ–º

  • What if it became downright dangerous to preach hate from a pulpit?

That includes goddamned Christian preachers, too! From the Talking Points Memo: “Pastors Praise Orlando Killings Of ‘Vile, Perverted Predators’.”

After 49 people were gunned down in an Orlando gay nightclub in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, pastors in California and Arizona praised the gunman for massacring “perverted predators” and “pedophiles.”

In Sacramento, Pastor Roger Jimenez of Verity Baptist Church said the killer succeeded in making Orlando safer.

“Are you sad that 50 pedophiles were killed today?” Jimenez said in a sermon originally posted on YouTube. “Um no, I think that’s great! I think that helps society. I think Orlando, Florida is a little safer tonight.”

In the sermon, delivered just hours after the rampage on Sunday morning, Jimenez also said, “I wish the government would round them all up, put them up against a wall, put a firing squad in front of them and blow their brains out.”

Tempe, Arizona preacher Steven Anderson also rushed to praise the “good news” that “there are 50 less pedophiles in this world.”

In a video posted online, Anderson, a pastor at Faithful Word Baptist Church, said while he wouldn’t advocate for violence, he said LGBT people should be “executed by a righteous government.”

“The bad news is that a lot of the homos in the bar are still alive, so they’re going to continue to molest children and recruit children into their filthy homosexual lifestyle,” he said, adding the attack would be used to attack Christians and push gun control.

“I’m not sad about it, I’m not gonna cry about it because these 50 people in the gay bar that got shot up were going to die of AIDS and syphilis and whatever else,” he continued. “At least these dangerous, filthy predators are off the streets. I’m just trying to look on the bright side.”

These sick bastards are as bad as Kansas’ Westboro Baptist Church, which predictably joined the hateful chorus: ‘God sent the shooter’

Westboro Baptist Church has blasted its thoughts on the horrific bloodbath that occurred in the wee hours of Sunday morning at the Pulse club in Orlando, Florida: “God hates fags. God sent the shooter. God hates murderer Omar Mateen. Omar Mateen and slain fags are in hell. REPENT!”

If there were such things as gods and eternal life, I can see why they would need to create a hell, as a fitting storage facility for expired intolerant religious nuts. Especially, their hateful preachers. Oh dear God, please deliver us from your irrational followers! 🙁 â—„Daveâ–º

    • I can see why they would need to create a hell, as a fitting storage facility for expired intolerant religious nuts.

Is it more clear now why Christians might have ended up in a Roman Colosseum arena fighting barehanded lions, tigers and bears OH MY!?

Imagine the shock of these evil dolts when it is their turn to FACE REAL JUSTICE.

What did they fail to learn in their traditional religious teaching about “judge not lest ye be judged”?

Why not imagine for a moment what the intent of that meant?

BEST NOT GET ME STARTED ON THIS SUBJECT 👿

      • BEST NOT GET ME STARTED ON THIS SUBJECT 👿

Oh, why not… it is one of my favorite subjects to rant about. 😈

I see that the extended emoticons from your comment editor also resolve here on my site! That is 😎 â—„Daveâ–º
