WhooHooo! Very nice letter Dave. WHo is this Janet Contreas? Does she have a web site? That is the most inspirational letter I have read in a while. If a Middle aged lady, mother and grandmother feels like that, then maybe we are waking up and not just to say '"but what can I do about it?" No, instead people may jut be ready to step up intellectually and inform, reform, group together and actually make change before it falls to the few remaining gun holders to do it the ole fashioned way! Maybe people like Ron Paul will be more understood and appreciated. He is an elected official who served and then went back to his day job, that of an OBGYN Physician. He only went back into politics at the request of his constituents. Last I checked he had about 175 sponsors for his reform bill to audit the Fed.Reserve. First step in getting rid of it. I will say he is not the whole answer but he sure is a great leader toward the cause. I have never seen or heard a politician in my life time speak and deliver like he does. He actually answers questions in a way you can actually understand where he stands. And if you happen to catch him in another part of the country or among another group he will give the same answers to same questions. Meaning: he doesn't change his answers to appease his crowd he sticks with his beliefs and convictions. I also admire how each and every time a reporter or show try to make him look foolish by putting words in his mouth or asking him stupid questions of the topic to try and lead him to say something they can cut out and use to make him look foolish he never falls for it. He humbly goes back to the important topics at hand, he never gets ruffled as he is sometimes insulted when the reporter can't get the rise expected. Another thing I can say, if he ever did get into a position of more power, after he accomplished his goals, he would not be looking for re election, he would be looking to go home to his wife, home and career. You know, serve his time for the people and then get back to life. I thought that was how it was supposed to work?
Well, all for now from the trenches behind the Orange Curtain, and to all a good night....
